Requirements

The following Backstage items are required.

Platform Team

• Deploy Backstage environment
• Clone the Rafay Backstage repository
• Install the Rafay Backstage plugin
• Authenticate the Backstage environment to the Rafay Org using an API token
• Customize Backstage workflows and select which to enable in the Backstage environment
• Import or create a Kubernetes cluster in the Rafay Org

Developer Team

• Download the kubeconfig file for the cluster
• Install kubectl on the local system
